Today Peter and I walked along the Oare Marshes (Faversham) for an hour or so before sundown. The moon had risen before sunset. The air was crisp and cold. The skies were BIG!

Inspired by the Welsh mythological story about the woman made from flowers of trees who later transforms into an owl. Tomorrow I will post my pastel sketch of this transformation! It is a story that has stayed with me for years and is deeply meaningful. Alan Garner wrote The Owl Service based on the tale.
