Yoga: Celebration of 50 years of Swami Radha's teachings at Yasodhara Ashram

Divine Mother Prayer Room www.yasodhara.org
Yasodhara Ashram, BC, Canada, nestled between mountains and next to a lake, is a very special place. In 1963, 50 years ago, a woman spiritual leader founded the ashram there. She was Swami Sivananda Radha, a westerner who had been initiated in India and asked by her guru to return to the west and take the ancient yogic teachings with her, adapting them for the western mind. She proceeded to rise to this challenge, wrote many books, taught, founded the ashram which has expanded and changed to become the place it is today.

Take a look for yourself. This is where I did my yoga teacher training and the place I return to every 3 /4 years to update!
